Any updates??? here’s my situation.
Saturday, 6/23
1. setup Iberia Plus Account
2. purchased 5 tickets
3. contacted Iberia by phone and associated my Iberia Plus # with the confirmation numbers of the 5 purchased tickets
4. purchased 5 more tickets to max out rewards to 90,000 Avios miles
5. contacted Iberia by phone and associated my Iberia Plus # with the confirmation numbers of the 5 additional tickets
Thursday, 7/5
Received an email asking for Iberia Plus number, image of Passport, and all reservation confirmation numbers to be associated with the Iberia Plus number
Responded with all of that information the same day
Friday, 7/6
Expected 90,000 Avios miles to be deposited in my account (10th business day) – Nothing
Can’t even log on to account – I get error message
Tuesday, 7/10
Contacted Iberia by phone
They said you should receive your miles on the 12th or 13th
Wednesday, 7/11
Received an email from Iberia acknowledging receipt of my information
Thursday, 7/12
Nothing
Friday, 7/13
Nothing
Sunday, 7/15
Contacted Iberia by phone and asked for the status of my Iberia Plus account
The reservation desk said the Avios department is working through 20,000 emails and they don’t have a direct number
Did you hear anything?
I think the best advice is to still be patient?
Otherwise, you could throw in the towel and just get your money back?
