i was trying to book a ticket on United business class

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi i am just new to miles and points soi was trying to book a ticket on United business class i was looking to book it thru aeroplan so i saw that aeroplan only gives you availabilities when united shoes saver award but the flight that I want was not available on saver so i was willing to do it for 155k but the only problem was that i didn’t have united points or chase so my question is if i can book this ticket with a different partner or any other way that i should be able to book this ticket using Amex points or Citi Thanks

Airline’s can only access a partner’s saver level award space. There’s really no way to book the UA flight using Amex or Citi, unless UA makes award space available at the saver level.

You can use the Amex or Citi travel portals to book space and you’d actually earn points for the flight. However, depending on how much your flight costs it may cost quite a lot of miles.
