Hyatt Stay starting in December, ending in January

Hyatt Stay starting in December, ending in January

Lucky, you have posted so many hyatt things I can not remember where or if I saw you say that stays ending in January even if starting in December will count as the double nights. Will it? I have a super cheap 50$ rate at a hyatt place in Shanghai I would like to book for sole purpose of getting status.

I think someone has asked before but I can’t find the question… pretty sure if you book a one night stay, Dec 31 – Jan 1… it will by default post to the previous year. If you book a longer stay, and are checking out past New Year’s Day, it will default to the following year.

The year of the check-out date determines how the credits will post for this promotion, so you would receive 2 elite night credits for 2021 for this stay.
