How to book awards with forced overnight with FlyingBlue miles
Which call center and at what time of the day should I call to piece together a one-way award from 3 individual segments, one on KL, the other two on DL? I checked award availability for the KL flight on the DL website and for the DL flights on the KL website
All of my calls to the UK, Netherlands and Singapore/Australia phone numbers have redirected to the Mauritius call center in the US evening hours.
I’d call Paris, but it still might not work. All the married segment restrictions have made putting together complex awards with FlyingBlue a bit of a challenge.

Do I select English or French?
If I select French, can I still speak English?
English is fine!
I was able to ticket OTP-LHR-SLC for 72k miles in business, with an overnight in LHR. Very easily done by the Mauritius call center. They put it on hold, then I transferred instantly from Chase and Citi and called back to ticket. It seems the key is to have only one connection and no AF/KL flights in your reservation and it should price at 72k one-way.
