How does the new AMEX gold dining credit work?

How does the new AMEX gold dining credit work?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Recently signed up for the new gold amex. I purchased a meal directly through Grub Hub using the card, but haven’t seen a $10 credit. I thought this was supposed to work like the airline credit where it refunds it? Or is there something else I have to do with Grub Hub to receive the $10 monthly rebate like the uber credit on the platinum card?

Officially, the credit takes 2-4 weeks to appear: https://onemileatatime.com/amex-gold-card-dining-airline-credits/

My credit posted 2 days later. You shouldn’t have to do anything else (other than initially ‘activate’ the credit when logged in to Amex).
