How do I purchase award travel on Cathay Pacific/Dragon with AA award miles?

How do I purchase award travel on Cathay Pacific/Dragon with AA award miles?

I looked on the American Airlines rewards page for my date and destination, but could not find any flights with Cathay. However, I know that they fly there. How do I find and book those flights?

You need to call AA directly, and they will book it for you (I have been doing this in the last 3 years, it was always an easy process). Since you CANNOT book Cathay flights on AA.com when using AA miles, they will NOT charge you any “agent” fees. If the booking agent wants to charge the fee, just politely remind him/her of the written policy.
