It’s not unusual for lower market properties to have lower earning rates although I’ve never quite understood why that is necessary with revenue based earning. Maybe a reflection of lower margins overall?

I can understand that from the hotels standpoint but as a consumer, I’m spending the same amount of money and getting the same value (a room for the night) as I would at a similarly priced property.I would like to get to someone in the Hilton world to pose this question.
