Hilton Aspire Card

Hilton Aspire Card

  1. Woodrow Gold

    Can someone please help clarify?

With the Hilton Aspire card you receive Diamond status, which provides an earn rate on point of 10pts/$1 + 100% bonus, for a total of 20pts./$1.

The Aspire card has an earn rate of 14pts/$1 for purchases made directly with Hilton.

Does this mean an Aspire card holder staying at Hilton and paying with the Aspire card is earning 34pts./$1?

    Am I overlooking something?

Nope. You’ve got it. It’s a pretty good card.

Had a recent 5-night stay where I earned 10,167 base points and I got an additional 10,167 for being Diamond. Two promos going on at the same time. One earned me an extra 1000 points, the other doubled my base points (another 10,167).

Cost of the stay was $1099.55 which with base + bonus points totaled 14,280 points when paid with my Aspire.

    10,167 x 3 = 30,501

    30,501 + 1,000 + 14,280 = 45,781 points for 5 nights’ stay. Not bad!

Thanks. I wanted to confirm because I immediately received my points from the hotel, and I suppose the points from Amex will follow?

On a recent stay in Chicago, aside from the regular points, the hotel gave me one night free, and 40k points for having to relocate to three different rooms. Offered me 10k after the first move, then an additional 30k after the second move. This was a 6 night stay.

Yes, you’ll get the points from the Amex card after your statement closes.
