Help: Got double billed in the Lifemiles OMAAT Promotion in Nov 2018
Does anyone have a good contact for someone higher up in the Lifemiles Customer Service or Billing Department? I got double billed in the amount of $495 after participating in the Lifemiles OMAAT promotion back on Nov 26, 2018. I contacted their customer service, confirmed that I got double billed, and was told I would get a refund 25-30 business days and to keep checking my statement. No refund after 30+ business days, contacted them again, they said it was being elevated and told to wait, another month goes by, contacted them again, same spiel that it was being sent back to the department for refund, rinse/repeat, now it is over 4 months and no refund. I have all my emails from them.
I’d dispute the duplicate charge on your credit card with your bank at this point.
Thanks for the info, sadly, I’ve past the dispute window of time from Chase (I was told 2 billing cycles) and they cannot do anything. So back to hounding Lifemiles Customer Service.
