Heathrow fast track vs Egates

Heathrow fast track vs Egates

Hi there, I’m visiting London in June and was pleasantly surprised to know that US citizens are not able to use Egates. Do you think it is a good idea to use Egates when I have fast track because I will be landing with Royal Jordanian business class? Thanks for your input.

Depends. You could be arriving at a time when there are a lot of other flights landing, all of which will have some combination of pax who are eligible for fast track and/or e-gates. Since both are available to you, just pick the option with the shortest line once you get to passport control.

Thanks David, it’s just that some members mentioned that it some officers take forever but I agree with you.

Some do, but theres no way to know ahead of time. Considering you’re in business class and one of the first ones off the plane, hopefully you arrive to passport control when lines are relatively short.

You are right. I bet the Egates will be busy anyway. I will keep my eyes open and decide when I get there. Thanks a lot for your help.
