Has anyone been in the Etihad AUH F lounge, lately?

    Hi Everyone –

I will be flying Etihad in F, and am wondering how much time to spend in the First Class lounge in Abu Dhabi. As we all know, the lounge had a sterling reputation, especially for food and service…and then the cost cutting began. The question is, if the lounge isn’t the ultimate anymore, is it at least still very good? As far as I know, Lucky — whose judgement I explicitly trust — hasn’t been back to see what the lounge’s quality actually is, now. Have any of you? Is it worth it to spend a couple of pre-flight hours there? Is it reasonable to expect a refined, creative, and/or yummy meal (and hopefully good champagne) in attractive surroundings? Or these days, is it merely a quieter place than the terminal to wait for our flight?

    Thanks, in advance!
