Global Entry vs Mobile Passport App

Global Entry vs Mobile Passport App

  1. Anonymous Guest

I am traveling out of the country and received a welcome email from Delta with info on this Mobile Passport App. When I read reviews from others, it looks like it works just like Global Entry without having to wait in the long regular lines but use the electronic kiosks.

Maybe Lucky can do an article on this… any of you know the difference?

Functionally, it’s like GE. You answer the same questions in the MP app, and get a barcode or something on your phone. There’s a separate line at immigration for MP. Usually it’s shorter because not many people use MP.

I have GE and have the MP app on my phone. Sometimes the GE line is long so i’ll do MP.

The difference, I guess, is that GE also includes TSA PreCheck, which MP doesnt.
