Glitchy AA.com question

Glitchy AA.com question

I booked a ticket with Avios on AA and it auto populated my BA number to the reservation. I wanted to go to AA.com and add my Known Traveler number to the reservation. So I tried to look up my BA PNR while logged into my Advantage account.

The first couple of times I tried, it said
We are unable to display this reservation. It will be removed from your list of reservations

I tried a different browser, same error.

I finally logged out of my AA account and tried to look at the BA PNR but put that I was a guest and didn’t want to log in. Up came my reservation.

I was able to add my KTN to my reservation (I can’t change the BA number and I’m fine cause I don’t have any status) and was able to add my wife’s Advantage # and KTN.

I couldn’t find any mention of this problem on other boards so I was wondering if anyone else ever had this problem. I also discovered that www.checkmytrip.com (which every website says for you to use to check your PNR) no longer allows you to check your PNR. It not links to a website for an app you can download.

Might be because you were logged in and the BA reservation was already linked to your BA account, considering it worked when you were logged out of AAdvantage.

I think that was the case. But why couldn’t I even look at the reservation when I was logged in? Seems a bit glitchy to me. Their recommendation was to call (um, no thanks).
