Freighter version of the A380?

Freighter version of the A380?

  1. Anonymous Guest

I know that Airbus is having trouble stirring up some new orders for the A380, and the ailing jumbo jet really needs a big lifeline to save the program (aside from Tim Clark anyway), so why haven’t they offered a freighter version? Lots of cargo airlines and other airlines use the 747 as a cargo plane, which is probably one of the only reasons the 747-8 worked. So why not the A380? Do you think there’s demand for that? And if so, will Airbus offer one any time soon and why haven’t they already?

There was a freighter version in the works but that program has been suspended. I highly doubt it’ll ever be made. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airbus_A380#A380F
