FLYING BLUE BADLY REINVENTED

FLYING BLUE BADLY REINVENTED

  1. Anonymous Guest

    Hello!
I had 2 flights with Aeroflot on March 30. and March 31 in Russia. I am Gold Flying Blue member of KLM. After new XP’s in system from April 1ast, they gave me only 2 XPs for one flight (and with date of that flight in April, not in March!!!!), not 7 per segment like promised. It was written that they will valuate segments and miles until April 1st according old system. It seems that forgot about that promise. New Flying Blue is badly reinvented and old and loyal members are not happy about that fact. Why, for example, they didn’t gave present of 10 XP’s for loyalty? Theres NO presents in KLM. So, what do you recommend to do to credit account with 14 xps, not 4? Of course, soon to leave from them! Thanks.

Hi Slobodan, not sure how much we could help! I’m not very familiar with the nuances of the Flying Blue program.

However, if you flew on March 31st, your boarding pass should reflect that. I would send a note to their customer service team, with an image of your boarding pass, showing that you clearly flew before April 1st and they should honor that.

    Hi Slobodan,
I think you may be mistaken about what XP is, and how it is earned. As per the Flying Blue XP chart that is posted on their website, there is no option to gain 7XPs on a flight. So I am not sure where you’re getting that information from. But if your Aeroflot flights were both domestic flights, and you flew economy class, you are only eligible for 2XP per flight
Meanwhile, you will also still earn the Flying Blue currency miles as this is a SkyTeam flight. But the miles earned will depend on distance, your flying blue status, and the booking class. Hope this was able to help!
