Flying AA Business Class to LHR – Lounge Access

I’m flying AA Business Class to LHR tonight. Would I be eligible to visit the BA Galleries Lounge in T5 on a connection a few hours later?

The oneworld website says that this is only possible on the day of travel or before 6 AM the following day. Since the arrival in LHR is technically the next day (redeye flight), would I be denied access if I arrive at 8 AM?

That should be just fine! Your flight arrives on Sunday, right? So you’d still be traveling on Sunday, and it would be a same-day connection.

I am flying J on AA to LHR tonight and connecting to CPH tomorrow morning.

Will I have access to the BA Galleries Lounge? It is my understanding that I would have access up until 6 am on the day after the day of travel.

How does this impact US–>EU redeye flights?

What 6am the following day means is that if you arrive in LHR at say 8am Sunday you have access to lounges until 6am Monday for connecting flights.

Is access granted due to the previous business class flight to London, or is it depending in the ongoing flight? Would it be also valid if the next flight is in economy and not even oneworld?
