Flight search switched

Say, friends and neighbors, I was searching for round trip flights from Kansas City, (MCI) to Miami (MIA) on line. There were no appropriate round trip flights from American, so I went on down to pay the higher price for Southwest. Put in the information, entered my rapid rewards number and payment information and bammo! as soon as I concluded the transaction, I realized I had been switched from Miami to Fort Lauderdale! Say that seems like dirty pool. Anyone have any good ideas. The hotel for my family is in Miami! I must admit I’m a bit frustrated at Southwest at the moment.

Are you certain that it was switched from MIA to FLL? Because when you entered Miami, it probably grabbed all the airports in the area but it would definitely say that it’s FLL when you selected the tickets.
That being said, there is always a 24 hours window to cancel tickets in the US, no questions asked so hopefully you were able to do that.
