Flight Schedules in the time of COVID

Flight Schedules in the time of COVID

  1. Anonymous Guest

How far out are flight schedules set these days? Looking at flights on SAS for late November and they seem to be operating routes that aren’t flying today. I’m not sure if this is a “real” flight schedule that they’ve accounted for COVID or not. If I book, are the odds high that they’ll end up cancelling if they are setting flight schedules e.g., 30 days out and it’s 60 days out now?

It’s really hard to say. I booked a flight in August for October and had my flight cancelled a couple weeks ago. Thankfully it was domestic so I just got booked on a later flight same day.

Given all the uncertainties right now around Covid, I’d be sure to understand the booking, change and refund policies for SAS before you book anything.
