EY or others? Need Help!!!!!

EY or others? Need Help!!!!!

I am looking to fly with EY mid December. I am looking at JFK-DEL, however for my dates business class prices for Etihad are quite expensive. In the same dates, EK is offering better prices but since, I have Etihad Guest (Gold), If I fly with them I would earn enough miles to get platinum status. Moreover, I am a big fan of the Etihad Bid for upgrade, it allows me to bid a desirable amount and fly first (If possible) for a cheaper price, the only issue in this case being availability of seats.
Please advise me on what should I do? I’m open to new and equally good airlines.
    Thanks,
    Everjoy Lamin

Well if you value Etihad Guest Platinum, can make use of the benefits and feel confident about being able to requalify next year, stick to EY. Otherwise, go with the cheaper option.

Have you also searched for routes operated by an Etihad Airways Partner where you can credit flights to EY and have it go towards status?
