Expiring Hyatt Points

Expiring Hyatt Points

  1. Erc New Member

I received an email from Hyatt that the 8592 points I have will expire on 9/30/2018 or after 24 months of inactivity. I don’t stay at Hyatts often and have no plans to book a hotel stay with them in the next few months to keep my balance active. I was wondering what’re the best options to transfer the points?

I was thinking transferring 7500 Hyatt points into 3000 Delta miles but then I will pretty much forfeit the remaining 1,092 points. Thoughts/ recommendations?

Welcome @Erc – you could buy points to keep your account active. If you have Ultimate Rewards points you could transfer some to your Hyatt account.

Or make a small donation of miles, if Hyatt allows that.
