Etihad Triple Miles

Etihad Triple Miles

  1. Anonymous Guest

I normally fly about 500K miles per year in business – normally split 60% OneWorld, 30% Star Alliance and then a smattering of everything else. I have a 10,000 mile trip in business coming up during Etihad’s “Triple Mile promotion – this will be my first Etihad trip, and I don’t see much travel on Etihad in the future.

Am I better off taking them up on the option, or putting fewer miles towards AA?

    Thanks

Etihad’s promotions are largely useless because the bonus miles never post about half the time and you have no recourse if they simply don’t post. Don’t bother with Etihad Guest as a program unless you actually fly them all the time and can make use of the status benefits.
