Etihad Online Check/Transit in for US bound flights

Etihad Online Check/Transit in for US bound flights

I arrive in Abu Dhabi on an Etihad flight on a separate reservation10 hours before my next Etihad flight from Abu Dhabi – New York. I know they have online check in but some airlines still require you to go pick up boarding pass for US bound flights b/c of document checking. Does anyone have any experience with this? Physical check in at the airport doesn’t open until 3 hours before and given I don’t have baggage, I just wanted to go straight through security 10 hours before my flight and go to the lounge. Thanks!

I think you can check in to both flights at your point of origin – just show the agent the flight confirmation.

If they cannot check you in there, there is no reason you cant do it when you arrive at AUH. That is Etihad’s hub and any of their agents should be able to check you in, like at the lounge entrance.
