Etihad lounges AUG

In October I’ll be flying business from CAI to AUH and then first to SIN. I’ve opted for a 16 hour layover in AUH so that I can see some sights. I wanted to know if I’ll be able to enter the first lounge for a few hours to eat, shower etc, leave the airport for a few more hours and then reenter the lounge before my flight? I saw on someones review elsewhere that you can only enter 3 hours before departure, is that true?

On the return I’ve got a 10 hour layover in AUH, will I be able to to stay in the business lounge the whole time or will it only be 3 hours prior to departure?

    Thanks

I staying in the First lounge for 9 hours. And yes you can leave and return, which I did a few times.

There is no 3 hour limit to my knowledge, which is really is non-sensical as connections aren’t necessarily timed to be under 3 hours.

Here is what you get to look forward to. Have fun!
