Etihad J=>F upgrade

Etihad J=>F upgrade

    I am coming back from America on the 30th of may. I am flying Etihad Business class. Is it worth paying 62000 miles to upgrade to F.
    I am Etihad gold. My final destination is Chennai, India, however I do not intend to upgrade on the auh-maa sector.

    Greetings to the patrons of OMAAT and Lucky.

    I face a dilemma on the jfk-auh sector of my journey – should I upgrade my brother and I from Business class to First class or save the miles for a later date. I really want to have a shower at 40,000 feet and enjoy the apartment and the inflight chef, but at the same time – is the difference all that big? Also is wifi in F free?

    Hmmm… tough call. I’m usually stingy with miles but if I was to splurge, EY F would be a product worth spending the miles and trying because of how unique it is. It’s also a pretty long flight so you do get to get a lot of time to experience it. I’d probably do it if you had the miles.

    Re: wifi, EY had complimentary codes once on a 787 F flight but I didn’t see them on our last 380 flight so YMMV. I wouldn’t expect it.
