Etihad has their online check-in opening 48 hours before flight departure. So can we select free seats 48 hours before or 24 hours before (as it is stated on their website). It is not clear as many sites mention free seats can be selected when online check-in opens while Etihad’s website says free seat can be selected only 24hrs before flight departure.

Hi,
Etihad’s website mentions that we can select free seats 24 hours prior to flight departure. But many other websites mention that free seats can be selected upon online check-in, which starts 48hrs before the flight take off time. So, can we select free seats even if we check-in 48hrs before (as soon as check-in begins) or do we have to wait until only 24hrs are left, to select free seats?
