ESTA status changed after Redress application??

ESTA status changed after Redress application??

  1. Hamada New Member

    Hi,
I requested a redress number a couple of weeks ago, because I was unable to check-in online whenever I travel to the US and on Domestic flights. I also get SSSS on my boarding passes and of during my last flight in SEP 19, I was questioned by a special BA employee for about 30 mins before he cleared me to be able to check in at Gatwick airport.
the question now is that I didn’t get any answer from the DHS, but now received an email that my Valid ESTA has an update (Still valid for 1 year, and already travel on it 1 time). When I checked online the status has changed from Approved to PENDING!
Any one had the same experience or has information on this?? I’m confused and think that maybe I made a mistake by applying for a redress number.
    Thanks.
