Electronics Ban to Medina?

Electronics Ban to Medina?

  1. phize

    Hi all,

I was just thinking today about the UK’s electronic ban which covers two cities in Saudi Arabia: Jeddah and Riyadh. However, I know that there are flights from the UK both LON and MAN to Medina. Would the electronics ban technically not apply to these flights considering it is not RUH or JED. I just thought that was interesting because I doubt there is a difference in worries between RUH/ JED and MED.

Just an interesting thing to think about.

    Best!

Are you thinking about the US ban since there are no regular year round flights to the US from Medina and as such Medina is not mentioned on most lists?
