I’m on EF right now searching for EK F award space YYZ-DXB-YYZ, and I noticed that EF is showing two segments DXB-LHR (EK) and LHR-YYZ (BA) (see screenshot [URL]http://imgur.com/RguniY6[/URL]). I had a few questions:
1) Since when do EK and BA allow “sharing” rewards?
2) I want to book the tix using JAL miles. Will JAL be able to book the two segments under one reward (YYZ-DXB-LHR-YYZ)? Can I stop in LHR for a few days if I want?
3) Is there something I’m missing or can I actually book this?
4) Do I have to check for BA availability separately, or does the screenshot I posted show that both segments are available?Thanks for your help!

Since you’re booking through JL, you can book EK and BA as a through award on a partner mile basis (not oneworld prices which is cheaper) but if you’re going to have a stopover in London you will have to take a separate award booking
