David1221 New MemberIs there a way to earn companion pass eligible RR points quickly? Potentially within the next 2 weeks? I have come up ~200 points short for the companion pass (my statements just closed – so I can’t earn it quickly enough with cc spend) and was hoping to get to the 125k threshold before my wife and I are scheduled to go on a trip in 2 weeks. I could drop her paid flight and add her as my companion and use her credit for a future trip just she is going on. Dining program or shopping program… does either post points very quickly and count towards companion pass? Thanks in advance!

I find that dining tends to post faster than shopping portal, but two weeks is pretty tight. Still worth trying, especially if there is a restaurant near your house
