DL NYC-HNL Nonstop?

DL NYC-HNL Nonstop?

I was just messing around on the DL site for an award ticket to hawaii, and noticed it was showing nonstop flights to HNL from JFK. I always thought UA and HA were the only airlines flying direct to hawaii from east coast. When did DL start doing nonstops? Haven’t seen any press about it, figured having this as an option would be a big deal that warranted coverage by someone.

Hi @dantheman the Wikipedia page for HNL () does list a seasonal DL flight. Didn’t know about it either but good to have another alternative.

Very interesting, good sourcing. I just always think of the 25k skypass KE award on DL metal to be a deceptive kind of sweet spot since it always includes a connection vs. doing UA nonstop via SQ points for 35k. This seasonal flight is a gamechanger and really adds value to the KE option (if you can find low level space, that is)

That’s always the catch with Delta right? 🙂
