Anyone familiar on the difference between the 2 set ups on the newly refurbished DL 777’s ?

One is 3 class with no Comfort but one is 4 class and includes Comfort as well PE from what I can tell,

Is this based on if its an ER or LR? Or it has nothing to do with that? And i was reading something about Delta One Suites are 22 in wide Vs. 24 in wide depending on which version 777 you get. Anyone know if those 2 extra inches on the Suites is an ER vs LR thing or a 3 class vs 4 class thing?

I am pretty certain that the seats are the same size regardless of which version 772 you get, i.e., its not that the 3-class is 22 inches wide and 4-class is 24 inches wide, but rather that most of the 28 seats are 22″ and a few are 24″, or vice versa. Usually having to do with cabin layout. Sometimes there is a pair of seats that are narrower, for some reason. It is the same reason why the bed lengths often vary by an inch or two (or six). This isn’t unique to Delta and the suites.

Thanks, that makes sense. I think that LR Vs. ER would have anything to do with the width of the plane. And neither would having Delta Comfort or not.

I guess its a staggered configuration thing.

Although after taking a peek at Seat Guru they show 3 class 777’s as having 22-24 and 4 class 777’s as having 22. That doesnt make sense. It would vary on 3 class but all 4 class are 22. I dont believe thats right b/c every review discussing the seats talks about them being 24 wide and never mentions that getting a 3 class vs 4 class matters. I know Seat Guru can be off sometimes.
