Disappearing post?
Yesterday I commented on how I wrap glass objects on one of Lucky’s blog posts. Now I can’t even find that post (the one with pictures of his broken glass). I’ve looked about six times and can’t find it. Am I imagining things – has it disappeared?
Were you logged in at the time? Were you posting from a different IP address than usual? I think the system “holds” what it perceives as first-time comments so the admins can approve. But that’s just a guess.

I meant I couldn’t find the blog post itself. I checked over and over – it definitely disappeared for a while, but it’s back now. (I presume someone saw my forum question.)
Ah, that’s what I get for trying to answer a post while in a meeting. I end up paying only half-attention to either thing!
Reading Lucky’s blog seems vastly preferable to attending a meeting.
@Malc Is this the post you’re talking about? It seems to still be up.

Not “still”. It’s back – it disappeared for a day.
@Malc — That’s really odd, as we haven’t changed the post status at all on our end.
Next time someone sees something like this, could you please take screenshots of the main page so we can pass this on to the tech team?
Yep, for sure. I thought it was odd too. I checked twice over a twelve-hour period. I actually wondered if someone had given too good advice about how to wrap delicate cargo that could have been used to get something nefarious onto the plane!
Does anyone know a direct way to contact Tiffany? Another Lucky post has disappeared, and she asked me to take screenshots …
@Malc–you can tag her here and upload screenshots, she’s pretty good about checking. Just type in @Tiffany.
Okay thanks.
@Tiffany. It happened again, and I think I know what happened. All the blog posts from November 21 disappeared for a while. I looked multiple times over a half-hour period. The posts went from Lucky’s Nov. 22 “Update on Eithad’s First Class Lounge” on page 1 to Nick’s Nov. 20 Fairmont Hotel review on page 2.
I’ll attach screenshots – note that these were consecutive posts on the blog, which means all of the Nov. 21 posts were absent. They have actually returned now. (In the last few hours there have been several new posts, so whether posting something new somehow jogs the system and returns the missing posts, I’m not sure – I’m not a technical person!) Anyway, this must be what happened a few weeks ago as well, when I couldn’t find Lucky’s other post.

Not sure if this is related or not, but I just noticed that on the first post for today the links to the previous and next posts seem to be awry too. Just one appears instead of the usual two.

That is SUPER helpful, thank you! Passing this on to the tech people, and hopefully they can figure it out.
I have seen this happen a couple of times before. Both on desktop and mobile.
I read one of the new posts then maybe try to go back the next day to read the comments (after new posts have gone up) but can no longer find it.
I feel like it should be in between the last post on the first page and the first post on the second page! (I could be wrong about this bit though!)
I went through my history on the desktop to find the page and it still opened at least.
@ Ben W — Yeah, that’s just bizarre. Please let me know if it happens again, as we can’t recreate it (possibly because we’re logged in).
