DFW-NRT availability on JL

DFW-NRT availability on JL

Any idea when JL will start loading flights in the computer? They have announced daily service (per Lucky’s post awhile ago) but I still don’t see the flights – and therefore any award seats.

@travel4b Where are you searching for the flights?

On ba.com. Actually, I see it now but there seems to be a glitch in that I have to log out and log back in after a couple of searches when doing segment by segment searching for award seats.

Not sure if you saw this but there was a post about space not showing on BA. Maybe this will help? http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/09/12/jal-awards-dallas/

Yes, I’m aware of the phantom availability issue on ba.com at times. However, I don’t think you can look for AA partner award seats on JL using the JL site itself. I might be wrong on that. Interestingly, this time JL seats that AA could see showed up on ba.com but not qantas.com. My understanding was that QF was more accurate than BA when searching for partner award seats.

True, not a perfect predictor but can be a good place to start and then cross reference with BA or Qantas. Were you able to book the dates you wanted?

I was, indeed. DFW-NRT IN J, and lucked into two F seats returning NRT-JFK – both on the dates I wanted.
