Delta One Suites Best Seat?

Delta One Suites Best Seat?

  1. Mikewarren1000 Member

Anybody had the chance to fly the Suites yet and have a seat recommendation.. Solo traveller so I know I dont want to be in the middle. I believe being in the seat closer to the window than the aisle is better for privacy (although i suppose only more privacy if suite door is open, probably irrelevant if door is closed). I know I prefer the “table” area on my right as a righty so if the seats are reverse herringbone i always take the right side but looks like the Suites are straight facing so i want the left side. My flight is a newly configured 777 so Even number rows seem to be the better option. I am looking at Row 2 or 4- dont want 6 or 8 to avoid proximity to the galley behind. Really curious if Row 2 is too close to front galley or if its worth 2 over 4 to get served quicker and get to sleep faster.

I know in the end these are little things but first time on Delta Suites just want to pick the best seat

    Thanks in advance

As a solo passenger, and newcomer to Delta One Suites, I’ve flown one flight on a 777 in 4D on the right side of the cabin and it was perfect for me.

Hey Gia thats funny i chose 4A before your reply. And the only other seat taken on the plane was row 4 on the far side. I think row 4 it is..

How was the flight? I chose the 777 ove the A330-900 Neo b/c of the wider cabin. And also i like that they kept the overhead bins in the middle so i can have my own bin for sure.

What is it noisy? I havent been on a 777 in a long time, been flying AA 787 only lately. Reading some stuff that the 777 is really noisy
I find all planes to be noisy with the exception of the 787 being less so. To my ears, the 777 is no worse than the A330. I’m super impressed with D1Suites and will be flying them again to Paris later this year. Lucky reviewed D1Suites in the A350 https://onemileatatime.com/delta-business-class-a350-review/
