Delta Medallion Status Match

Delta Medallion Status Match

  1. Sam Z Member

I currently have BA bronze and VS gold status, but if I get the two delta cards I will earn 20,000 MQMs. I need 25,000 for silver medallion, but don’t know if I can fly 5,000 MQMs on Delta. A status match to silver would require 6,250 MQMs, gold would require 12,500, and platinum would require 18,750, meaning that if they count the MQMs I got from my credit card spend I should be able to get either gold or platinum medallion. Does anyone know if the MQMs I get from credit card spend count toward the status challenge?

I’m not positive but am betting they would not count.
