Hello Everyone,

I hope someone can answer my question!!

I have to attend a friend weeding in Pakistan can someone guide me, I am a delta gold sky mile member delta Don’t offer any route to Pakistan! Can anyone gave me any suggestion? I don’t want to miss mqms

So you’re looking for a revenue flight, not an award ticket?

Saudia is a Skyteam member, and you can buy a ticket with them and credit to Delta. You’ll earn anywhere from 25% MQMs and award miles for Deep Discount Economy to 100% MQMs and award miles for First Class. You’ll also earn 5%-20% of MQDs based on distance flown, depending on fare class.

Saudia flies to Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad from both Jeddah and Riyadh. They serve JFK, LAX and IAD in the US.

i dont have good experience with Saudi airline,
any other recommendation (Europe and separate ticket to dxb or direct to pak?)

Saudia is the only SkyTeam airline serving Pakistan, so if you wanted to earn MQMs for your flights, you dont have another option. You could fly other skyteam airlines to Europe and then buy a separate ticket to connect to Pakistan, though they wouldnt earn MQMs.

Delta’s launching direct flights to India in late December 2019. If that works you could book that, and earn MQMs. You’d need to book a separate ticket from Mumbai to your destination in Pakistan though.

First thanks for you help
we are traveling in august 🙁 can i calculate MQMs on Saudi etc.. just wanted to see how much i can earn ?

7. David W Community Ambassador

It’ll depend on your fare class. You can see the earning charts here: https://www.delta.com/content/www/en_US/skymiles/how-to-earn-miles/airline-partners.html

Thank you look likes they dont have many options to choose in August just checked on google flights.

other options if i choose Qatar but which card to apply ?

Qatar is part of oneworld. If you want to book awards with them, you can use BA Avios or American AAdvantage miles. I think AAdvantage is a better deal – you can get their credit cards from CitiBank or Barclays.

If you want to pay for the flights and credit them, AAdvantage might work better, though BA Avois is good for short haul awards.
