    My cousin from sweden flew on SAS thru Copenhagen and Chicago to Calgary with the last leg on United. Their short, and late, connection in Copenhagen caused her bag to miss the flight. Long story short, it took 4 days for the bag to arrive. She dealt with UA regarding getting the bag delivered and they said she can have some points for compensation. Problem is they won’t fly UA since they live in Sweden

    My main question is who is responsible for compensation so she can direct her request to the right airline? SAS or UA? Also any special rules or regulations around this since flight departed from EU? Thanks in advance!!
