CSR Portal Discrepancies

CSR Portal Discrepancies

I found a flight SFO-HND-SIN. Business class on both legs. It’s showing up on both Google ITA and United’s site with fare code P.

Expert Flyer shows no availability in P.

For some reason the CSR portal has it with the same price but as a mixed fare with the second leg as premium econ. I called Chase and they said they couldn’t do anything.

As a multi city search on CSR portal I found both legs as business but for $1000 more than on United. This time it was listed as fare code Z.

I’ve uploaded photos of all this.

Is this normal? Why would it be available on United’s site and not through the Chase portal?

I’m not surprised an airline hasn’t made all its space available to an OTA. Just like they don’t necessarily make all award space available to partners they may hold back some seats exclusive to their own site.

Your files didn’t download but I get the picture. This is more common than you may think. For my particular destinations, desired airlines, and timing regarding flight purchases, I often find better fares and award availability directly from the carrier. The airlines have to be holding back as @MidSouth Skier states, for their own customers, avoiding commissions.

An airline not making space available to OTAs I get. But why would United show fare code P and expert flyer show it as 0?
