Connecting time in EZE enough?
Hey guys,
couldn’t find this question being asked anywhere but I need to get from Montevideo (MVD) to Frankfurt and as I have some Lufthansa Miles & More to burn before they expire I’m thinking about booking an award from Buenos Aires (EZE) to Frankfurt (FRA). For the MVD-EZE leg there apparently is an AF 5th freedom flight which would come in handy. However, I’m wondering whether the connecting time in EZE will be enough for me to get on the LH flight in time. The flight times are as follows:
MVD-EZE with AF is scheduled to arrive at 3.35pm at Terminal C
EZE-FRA with LH is scheduled to depart at 5.55pm from Terminal A
I’ve never been to EZE airport but seems like Terminal C is usually used for domestic flights? Still, coming from Uruguay I’ll probably need to clear immigration? Also I’ll have to collect my luggage as AF and LH are different alliances…can anybody who’s been to EZE before weigh in and tell me whether they think the 2h20m will be enough connecting time?
Many thanks!
I’ve been through there a few times and I wouldn’t feel comfortable with it if only for the reason that the Argentine Airlines were notorious for schedule changes back when I used this airport regularly around five years ago. Seems like those changes always shortened my connection window.
thanks a lot for sharing your experience!
