Citibank AAdvantage Changes coming…

Citibank AAdvantage Changes coming…

  1. CJK New Member

After getting my Citi AAdvantage card… they start pulling stuff from me… waaaah… 🙁

We’re writing to let you know about some of the upcoming changes to the benefits that come with your card.

The $100 American Airlines flight discount benefit earned each cardmembership year after spending $30,000 is being discontinued

This benefit will be discontinued on your cardmember anniversary date after November 15, 2015. Your cardmember anniversary is the date you are billed your annual fee each year.

Great news, no foreign transaction fees is coming!

You won’t be charged any foreign transaction fees on purchases after November 15, 2015. You can use your card abroad on all your travels without having to worry about being charged this fee.

Yep, Lucky wrote about that here:

On the other hand, while the AAdvantage card is great for the 10% back on redeemed mileage, it’s not the best card to use to earn AA miles, as Lucky wrote about this weekend: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2015/09/13/best-credit-card-for-earning-american-miles/
