Lucky. I have a flight for next week booked via Citi TY points on AA. I recently broke a bone and need surgery and will not be able to travel. Do I have any recourse or am I just totally screwed for the points I used?

Contact Citi TY and see if they’ll work with AA to cancel the ticket and issue a refund, though I think it requires you to send in some sort of medical record that states you cannot travel for a certain period of time.
