I know the Citi Platinum AA just announced that there will now be 2x points for spend on Dining and Gas, have you guys heard of these changes possibly coming to the Executive card as well? I don’t have either card, and I want the lounge access but also want to maximize spend (DFW native so AA is my only airline I fly). I know I can’t get the signup bonus on both cards, so I was hoping they up the spend category and I can go straight for the Executive. Any answers and advice would be greatly appreciated!
