Checking Bags

Checking Bags

  1. Anonymous Guest

hi, im trying to book a flight from tlv to jfk, via ist. I found that it is much cheaper to book each flight separately (book from tlv to ist, and then ist to jfk). If i book the flights separately can I check my bags in tlv through to jfk or will i have to recheck them in ist?

Since connecting in IST are all the flights on Turkish airlines or are you mixing airlines?

Is this a one-way flight TLV-IST-JFK or a return ticket?

As long as all the segments are included in the same ticket your bags should be through. I am still considering one way tickets.

The general answer to this is that if your tickets are on the same carrier or if the airlines flying the two segments have an interline agreement, you should be able to check the bags all the way. Otherwise you’ll have to pick them up and re-check them.
