Anonymous GuestI transferred enough miles from Chase Rewards to United Mileage Plus to buy 3 mileage tickets from NY to Cape Town South Africa. United just notified me that they have cancelled the flight and don’t have a substitute that will work with our schedule. United has refunded the miles but they are now stuck with United. United seems willing to send them back to Chase but Chase says the terms are that they cannot be redeposited (despite Covid). Any ideas how to get them transferred back?
Whoever reads this…be careful in the future as there seems to be no protection from Chase!!
