Chase Bussiness Application

Chase Bussiness Application

  1. Sheryl New Member

We are working toward Southwest companion pass and applied for Chase business card first using my husbands name. After submitting the application he was directed to call them. They asked a few simple questions, birthday and address, then said they would have to send application by mail. His credit score is 830 and is usually approved instantly. It’s been over 60 days since any application and he only has 2 credit cards that would affect the 5/24 rule. Has anyone had this experience? We were planning on applying for the personal card right away using a link sent in my name for 50,000 good until Jan 7 to earn companion early in 2017.

Did they say they would send you another application in the mail for you to complete and resubmit? Sorry, I’m a little unclear at that point. Have you called to follow up?

Also, just to make sure we’re on the same page, you’ll need to have both cards in one person’s name to get to CP quickly otherwise you’ll both need to hit the 110k threshold.

We are doing both cards in his name since he has fewer cards and no recent applications.

The representative on the phone simply said they would need more information and would be sending an application. He did not mention anything regarding the on line application.

So have you followed up with them about the additional materials required?

We have not followed up yet. We are new to all this and not sure best approach. We value opinions and help offered here!! Was most curious if mailed application after online application has happened to others.

No, have never heard of that. I think they might request follow up materials like business income proof etc but not a second application itself. As long as your husband has a business I would call back and follow up.

I was stupid enough to not take a screen shot of reference number. Live and learn!! Can he call using name and social?

Yes, they should be able to look it with the SSN. Good luck!
