Yes – their flight that operates between JFK-HKG that stops in YVR has a First Class cabin and you’re able to book tickets on only the YVR-HKG segments. CX888/889.
Their other daily flight doesnt seem to have an F cabin. Their 3rd flight that operates 3x a week is with a A350 (beginning 3/28) doesnt have an F cabin either.

David you are correct! But YYZ is Toronto, not Vancouver 🙂
Cathay flies a 777-300 to Toronto twice daily, so yes they offer first class on both flights.

Thank you for your replies! I’m looking at CX829 for end-of-may departure but expertflyer.com shows the flight as a 3-class 777-300ER?

Cathay has 2 versions of the 777-300ER and the 3 class one is Business, Premium Economy and Economy.
