Cathay Pacific – Premium Economy Points – AA or Marco Polo?

Cathay Pacific – Premium Economy Points – AA or Marco Polo?

  1. Anonymous Guest

Hi, my partner and I will be flying premium economy from NY to Sydney (stopover in HK) and NY to Singapore within the next 6 months. We are based in New York, and have been visiting Hong Kong every 12-18 months – mostly on Cathay Pacific.

We have been saving the miles on Asia Miles/ Marco Polo club, but since we don’t fly enough, and we are based in NY, we aren’t really benefiting from Marco Polo and haven’t really used any points in Asia Miles either.

We are wondering if we should collect the points with American Airline, so at least we can redeem the points within domestically in US and/or between NY & Toronto (another often location for us).

Would like to hear your advice, thanks!

That’s not a bad idea though you might want to credit some to BA avios. They have a distance based chart so it’s less miles for the NYC-YYZ flights.
