Cathay Pacific HKG First Class Lounge Access Question
I will be taking Cathay Pacific first class from LAX to HKG next May and then have a 4-hour layover, where I will then be taking business class from HKG to MEL. I really want to spend my layover in one of Cathay’s first class lounges (Pier or Wing) but can’t seem to find a definitive answer on whether this will be possible since my next outbound flight is in business class. Does anyone know Cathay’s rules here? I will note that I am not a OneWorld frequent flyer. Thank you in advance for your help.
Everything that I’ve read you should, and I may see you there as I’m doing the same thing.
Yes, you will. oneworld gives lounge access based on the highest class of service for your travel that day: http://onemileatatime.boardingarea.com/2014/08/25/know-lounge-access-international-itineraries/
