Enjoyed finding your blog on CNN. Lots of interesting ideas. You are correct travel isn’t for free. With all the miles you fly, I wanted to ask what you do to create cash flow for all that expense?
    Thanks

    Hi Royce,

Welcome, and I hope you stick around! We run a travel consulting business, and also earn revenue from advertising on the blog. We fly a lot (Ben about twice as much as the rest of us), but there’s a lot of work and business happening at the same time. 🙂

If you really enjoy flying, get 3-4 around the world tickets per year. Get your Premium status first though…. Each around the world in economy will set you back maybe $2K for Star Alliance and $2,4K in One World. I’d go for One World since you earn the Avios (BA) as you fly and not limited by the miles you fly as on Staralliance.
