Flying Heathrow to Zagreb this morning, which is a mixed-fleet route. About an hour before boarding, they announced our flight is operated by Qatar. Pleasant surprise! I was in Club Europe on British, and now lucky enough to have a nice recliner seat on a Qatar A320.
Flight leaving on-time, zero disruptions.
For those interested, BA did pass out a letter to passengers in the terminal explaining the strike and offering passengers a full refund if they wish to not fly because of the change in service. I will upload a copy of the letter shortly, can’t seem to figure it out from my phone.
If you’re traveling through Heathrow during the latest strike, hopefully this puts you at ease!
